istillcantthinkofatitle asked: Hi, I just wanted to say that your art is beautiful and thought provoking, the portrait of Heydrich smiling even made me feel sad. Even people who do evil things are not inherently evil, they are still people. Perhaps they should be stopped, and they should be punished, but they are still human. I like your paintings of Canaris too, what made you interested in painting him? I also wish you good luck with your writing projects.
Thanks I just saw this ask, probably it’s old :( Yes Heydrich did a lot of evil things but I also don’t believe he was some kind of evil incarnated, he should have been stopped, but he needed just better home in better place in better times and he would be someone else, his mother was awful! Canaris, oh well I love reading about him, he also was really unhappy man and definitely more moral than Heydrich I like dynamics of their foe/friendship relationship
